Married 29 years to Sharon Miles Kellett. Sharon is an RN and works in the Emergency Room at Valley General Hospital in Monroe. She is also a Critical Care Transport Nurse with Rural Metro Ambulance and is on call with International Medical Surgical Response Team (IMSuRT) a Federal Agency for emergency services under the US Department of Health and Human Services. She is a member of SEIU and the Teamsters unions. Sharon grew up as a Navy brat while her father served 23 years in the US Navy as a Navy Pilot. He then taught for 19 years at Oak Harbor HS. He was inducted into the Navy Golden Eagles in 2012.
Daughter Katherine Kellett Bathgate is an honors graduate of Claremont McKenna College with an interdisciplinary degree in Philosophy and Public Affairs. Katherine is the Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing for the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. She was the Deputy Press Secretary for the Education and Workforce Committee in the US House of Representatives. She is married to Marc Bathgate a General Partner with Hamilton Miller Investments LLC.
Son James Miles Kellett is a graduate of Biola University with a double major Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies & Theology and Communications. Miles is a certified EMT. He has accepted a position with the Seattle Police Department and is currently in training at the Washington Law Enforcement Academy. Miles is a member of the Teamsters Union. He is married to Alexandra Whalen who has a degree in Animal Husbandry from Washington State University. She completed nursing school in August 2013 and works at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She is currently in study for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Son Jordan Alexander Kellett graduated from the US Naval Academy May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture. Jordan is currently in flight school at NAS Whiting in Milton, Florida training to be a Navy Pilot. His goal is to be a carrier pilot flying the F/A 18.
I was born August 30, 1954 at Letterman Army Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Father, James A Kellett is an architect and has been married to wife Jeanne for 62 years. We lived briefly on Guam while my parents were stationed there during my Dad’s Army career. I have three younger siblings; brother Jonathan who is the Principal at Life Christian Academy. Jon was ‘Washington State Principal of the Year for 2007’ while Principal at Stadium High School in the Tacoma School District. He is married to Ludy and they have four daughters. Sister Jennifer Aarrestad is a professional singer. She is married to Ted Aarrestad, a high school music teacher in Rothschild, WI and they have three sons . Sister Angela Rice works for Aveda Corporation. She is married to Bill Rice, an attorney with Ameriprise Financial and they have two daughters.
